Documents: Mass. teacher's throat cut, note left

The body of a popular Massachusetts teacher who police say was killed by one of her students was found in the woods, naked from the waist down and with her throat slit and a note that read, "I hate you all," according to court documents released Friday.

(snip)

According to the documents, surveillance video showed Chism putting on gloves and with a hood over his head as he followed Ritzer into a bathroom. The documents say he brought a box cutter, mask, gloves and multiple changes of clothing to school the day Ritzer was killed.

She was reported missing when she never returned home from school. Her body was found in the woods, partly covered in leaves, and police said it appeared to be sexually positioned. Authorities say she had been sexually assaulted with a stick.

was he doing drugs, is there a chemical imbalance in his brain, what
is it that would drive a 14 year old to do this?

The horror is almost too much to comprehend. He's broken, very badly broken.

Serial killers like Ted Bundy and Dahmer are often driven by psychosexual pathologies. That appears to be the case with this kid.

They need to keep his ass locked up one way or another.

No other species known to exist in the universe is capable of evil like this.

And I'm of the firm belief that the police stopped a serial killer in the making, the staging of the body, the taking of personal items, the slashing of the throat, all hallmarks of a serial killer, this 14yo deserves to never see another day of freedom and the public deserves to be protected from him.

Charged as an adult? It's definitely warranted. Life in prison if convicted? Absolutely.

Humans are perhaps uniquely "evil" in the sense that they have an understanding of what they are doing and could choose to do otherwise.
