How annoying is Fox "News"?

My wife and I had dinner in a pub this evening...one of the televisions was showing Fox "News"....from where we were sitting, we couldn't see it or hear it, but just knowing it was on in the same room was extremely irritating.

In the past they've only had sports on...it's a shame if they're now showing that junk as well.

Oh well, at least the food was good

If I'm on a military installation & I can reach the tv I'll just go over & change it or turn it off.

If I'm at a private business I ask them to change it then depending on where it is go from there. I live in SC so I tend to have to weigh my battles accordingly.

Today was my last day in the military (i have 30 days of leave) after waiting for 2 years for them to decide just how disabled the think I am so it makes a big difference on how I approach a situation.

Fox News sucks & I try to save as many hopeless minds as possible.

7. I went to an appointment with a retina specialist last week.

I was sitting in the 'hold' room..that's what I call it..for after you have had numbing drops put in for the glaucoma test and more drops put in to dilate your pupils while waiting for your 9 second exam by the doctor... and by which time you can't see a blessed thing.... FOX FUCKERS was on the TV above my head..about 15 people in the room. Mostly older, as it is mostly older people who need to go to a retina specialist, DUH !..including me at 70 last week (thank you very much), although I look a very young, dashing...?? 58??
In fact, I was probably the youngest one there. One woman with a walker, a couple with friends or family to help them get around, and one old coot with a.. ready for this? a seeing eye dog ! I kid you not. ( I am not making fun of anyone. This is how it was. I'm 70 remember.)

OK, so, I look around and several people are watching, and the Fuckers, oopps, Foxers, are going on about.. well you know what.. in this case the woman who loved her Obamacare, told Obama, he read her story, and then she found out what a crappy law it was.... blah blah blah...SO- I stood up on a chair and changed the station to.. I don't even remember. I think maybe it was the food channel.

Nobody blinked, or moved, or said anything...
The funny thing was...probably nobody could see it !!! Only hear it. And maybe some were too hard of hearing to hear it. and the rest were just hypnotized and didn't care. Or something..

MY optometrist, my retina specialist and a chain store where I bought my glasses were all right wingers. Dropped my optometrist, will not go back to the chain store but am stuck with my retina specialist because he is the best at what he does in my area.

was enough to irritate you, even though you couldn't see or hear the TV? That seems kind of silly.
