To protect Donald Trump from accountability for the man's death. And to protect the killers.

Everyone assumed the officer died shortly after being struck by that fire extinguisher. Now, I've read that he was released from the hospital and died the next day from a stroke.

Sicknick was a 42-year old man--in his prime as they say--but there's no doubt a closed head injury could easily provoke a major stroke. It's one of the warnings we were given when our youngest son (19 years old at the time) suffered a TBI and he indeed did stroke out 2 days after the initial injury. Even severe concussions can lead to bleeds and stroke. A hard hit to the head is no laughing matter and there's no such thing as a 'mild' head injury.

Then there's the bear spray theory, some awful (yet delayed) allergic reaction.

Whatever.

The facts are had Officer Sicknick not been in the middle of a Trump-incited insurrection, had he not been stuck on the head and/or sprayed by bear spray, the chances are very good he'd be alive today.

Trump doesn't get off the hook. Nor do Officer Sicknick's assaulters/killers.

regarding Jan 6th. Trump's life from now on with be a living nightmare. He is lucky to be a tyrant in America, where his future will be decided by the rule of law, not mob violence.
