Edit: Full House (aka Full House, MD), for those not in the know, is loosely based on Conan O'Brien's Sherlock Holmes.

Who was Lizzie Borden's neighbor , and when she told the story, which was often, she always insisted strongly that Lizzie did NOT do it.

I saw a show on one of the science channels years ago (when they still had educational programs) that looked at all the evidence, and concluded that the father's ill-legitimate son did it. The son had been trying to get his dad to give him some money, and had been repeatedly rebuffed.
