They look like real people at the age they would currently be.

It's also sad, depressing, and a little scary how young they were when they died. Most were only 27. The oldest was Elvis at 42.

The first time I heard The Doors was listening to a jukebox at a roadhouse type beer joint. Must have been around 1967. There was no band there that night, just the old jukebox playing. Went looking for Doors' music the next day. Shows how old I am.

those are well-done, I thought they preserved
something essential about each person and 'matured'
it along with the face. The expressions are really
significant to me. Sweet.

You don't see too many 46 year-old guys who have hair hanging down on their foreheads. I think he'd be going bald. There's some blondes and red-heads in my family, and they typically have thin hair or it falls out when they get in their 40's. I was blonde and my hair's really thin on top, but I shave my head.

It is interesting to see how long they keep the old long hair.

Gregg Allman still has it long, but that was a very defining characteristic. Probably dyes it as it's still blond.

Bon Jovi chopped it off it seems sort of early, about 45 maybe.

Roger Daltrey got it cut pretty early along.

Willie Nelson still does the same thing, but it goes all right the same with grey as with brown hair.

Mick Jagger seems to have more or less the same length, maybe a little shorter than the 60s. Must be colored as most are more grey at 70.

Still more black than gray at 78.

OTOH, Dad's family would see gray hairs in their 20s!
