Go strait to law inforcement...where they feel at home fighting the enemy (those scary colored people).

But I found one thing interisting....he claims to have went to the US Navel Academy, but he was a CPO...an enlisted rank...did he flunk out or just lied?

I don't know - but when I just Googled his name again it got REALLY CREEPY

How the Cooper Color Code Explains 'Stand Your Ground,' and Prevents Crime

Colonel Jeff Cooper provided a color code of mental awareness, which has been adopted by Front Sight in Pahrump, Nevada. None of the following constitutes legal advice, but it is easy to see how this color code goes well beyond debunking the myth that "stand your ground" laws turn streets into free-fire zones. Its diligent application also prevents much, if not most, violent street crime even without the display or possession of a weapon.

I personally encountered an excellent Condition Orange simulation at Luzerne County Community College's Public Safety Institute. I confronted, while holding a handgun simulator at the ready position (drawn but not aimed), a Caucasian version of Trayvon Martin who was acting suspiciously in the wrong neighborhood. He suddenly reached behind his back, drew a knife, and lunged at me. The computer determined that he reached me before I could aim and fire, which I did the instant he began his attack. (In practice, he had not done anything previously to even justify drawing a gun on him, which meant I had an advantage that a police officer or armed citizen would not have had in reality.) The lesson is, therefore, to put as much distance as you can between yourself and a suspicious individual even if you are armed. He can otherwise bring a knife to a gunfight, and win.

Didn't he actually hit his (human, unarmed) "target" 4 times out of 19 shots at close range?

The streets of our towns are not the streets of Fallujah. And domestic disputes don't require SWAT teams.

He may be an instructor there, but not the founder.

The Navy vet Jeff Cooper began his service in 1990, while the academy's FB page identifies its founder as a Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Cooper who served in WWII and the Korean War.

Gunsite was founded in 1976 by Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper, author, columnist, professor, WW II and Korean War combat veteran.

Gunsite was founded by Jeff Cooper as the "American Pistol Institute" ("A.P.I.&quot in 1976 in order to teach the Modern Technique of the Pistol. The Modern Technique of the Pistol is a method of use of the handgun for self-defense. The Modern Technique uses a two-handed grip of the pistol, which brings the pistol to eye-level, so that the sights may be used to aim the pistol at one's assailant. Prior to the founding of API, Jeff Cooper had traveled the world providing training in the Modern Technique to security teams such as those protecting heads of state, prominent politicians and wealthy individuals.[1] The facilities at Gunsite allowed Jeff Cooper to teach the Modern Technique to a much wider audience. At that time the firearms training school industry did not exist
