The incompetent and reckless leadership of Mitch McConnell.

If the Republicans are looking for someone to blame for the change in the filibuster rule, they should look no further than their Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell.

His disastrous course of obstruction left the Democrats no choice but to act. His lack of respect for his opposition and his total lack of judgement led to the change in the rule.

This was the same guy that told his Republican followers that his number one priority was to see that Barack Obama was a one-term President. He failed in that quest.

Then, his strategy was to block everything that Barack Obama brought forth. He did not choose moderation on anything. He wanted to block everything.

If Mitch McConnell continues in his position of leadership, Republicans deserve whatever they get coming down the road. His actions cannot keep up with his big mouth.

This whole crowd of current House & Senate Republicons have stepped all in the dog poop and tracked it all in the house so badly over the last 5 years that I feel even their diehard base(s) must be embarrassed by them.

It is basic human nature to want to associate with winners and this crop, even the old timers, look like the biggest crowd of losers.
I can't help but feel they will be surprised once their names appear on ballots around the country over the next couple years.

Perhaps I'm too optimistic.

Peace
