I *finally* talked to my Father Doctor today (re: diabetes)

and we are on the way to safely lowering his glucose levels, and I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to post to me about my ordeal. It helped me ask better questions, which will lead to better treatment for Dad. I am sure he is relieved not to have to take his blood sugar 8 times a day. LOL

Anyway, I couldn't have done it without you all.

Diabetes is a terrible disease. My younger brother has lost his eyesight and had a kidney transplant because of complications for diabetes. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Well, maybe certain terrible people . . .
