15 reasons the world is digging Pope Francis

1) Sarah Palin thinks he's a "liberal"

If Sarah Palin is pissed at you, you're probably doing okay in the realm of the sane. In an interview this week, she pointed to the Pope's liberal "agenda" and wondered whether his message was being manipulated by her favorite villain, "the media." Pope Francis must be doing something right.

The fact that he is rabidly anti woman, anti choice and anti equality just adds to the appeal for most of this atavistic, prejudiced, dogma poisoned world. In a decent society, Francis would be castigated for his attacks on minority groups, but most on DU don't mind those minority groups being attacked, they don't care that he calls our families a product of evil, of Satan, they don't give a simple shit at all and it makes their 'faith' look like what it is, a way to harm others while claiming it is 'for God'.
I have to wonder if the Francis fans would be as welcoming of him if he was as openly racist as he is openly anti gay. I assume they would be.

Christianity that demands they oppose equality and reproductive choice. If Fankie was not sworn to 'celebacy' they'd make a great couple, chattering about demonic influences and how gay people are from the devil, as they both do.
