Limbaugh blasts ‘pure Marxism’ coming from Pope Francis

On his Wednesday radio show, Rush Limbaugh admitted being “befuddled” by the harsh words about “unfettered capitalism” released this week by Pope Francis.

Noting multiple times that he’s not Catholic — but that he has made several visits to the Vatican, which “couldn’t exist without tons of money” — Limbaugh said that he greatly admired the religion and had been “tempted a number of times to delve deeper into it.”

He also said that up to now he had admired the new pope, if he also thought that Pope Francis was putting on the “common man touch” a bit too thick. “I thought there might have been a little bit of PR involved there,” he said.

But the new pronouncement, the pope’s latest Evangelii Gadium, or Joy of the Gospel, was a surprisingly frontal attack on capitalism, with Francis calling it a form of tyranny.

That didn’t sit well with Limbaugh. “Somebody has either written this for him or gotten to him,” Rush said. “This is just pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the pope.”

He started it with "people are emailing me that the Pope's words have been mistranslated...". He then said that he couldn't fathom that "a document this large could be mistranslated" huh?

He then extrapolated this out to how yes indeed the "worldwide left" could indeed manipulate anything into what ever they want.

This all served as a tease to his traditional "true history of thanksgiving" with excerpts from his new children's book. His "true history" is some of the most incredible history re-writing that you can imagine.

Limbaugh is a perverse cult leader that is the center of anything good, true, holy, worthy, pure - hence the true followers: ditto heads who do not question or investigate, because Rush does all that.

Hopefully he might have met his match with this Pope. My close family member is a Limbaugh fan and devote Catholic. It'll be interesting to hear his take.

Once Rush puts his label on somebody, the burden is on them to prove the label is wrong. He does it over and over again, and the sad thing is that it still works on his dittoheads.

you'll have leftists argue that the soviet union had full employment (not bad & I love to talk about how they accepted the sexes as equal and included that in their 1977 constitution) and cuba has the most amazing doctors in the world. Have we got to the type of communism Marx envisioned? I don't think we have. Paris Commune, I think, was probably the closest. Here's a link for those who are unfamiliar: http://www.marxist.com/paris-commune-of-1871.htm

It's actually kind of funny that the American right wing is now more dependent on people not actually reading the Bible than is the Catholic Church.
