It is sad you that did not get much replies. I raise a glass to those servers in Florida where I used to winter. The ones who makem2 bucks an hour or less and have no benefits or holiday pay. I always tipped well, knowing what hard work it is to be a server. Probably surprised them, as Canadians are known to be poor tippers. I apologize for that but they may not realize the low wages that most American hospitality staff work for as up our way we have a high minimum wage.

I commend you for thinking of those who worked today. And for those who served the homeless and less fortunate.

And a favorite song from one of my favorite bands. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, you and all the hard working people of this world.

A toast to all the "unsung and unknown." We all know a few of these folks, and it's important to let them know they are appreciated all year long.

I expect a lot of people who would reply are as exhausted as I am, after a thirteen-hour day cooking and cleaning up from
Thanksgiving dinner, etc. So many unsung heroes among us, working long hours every day, keeping the world going, often in difficult and even dangerous work! Yes, let's salute all of them. Good night, all! Happy Thanksgiving! Also, Happy Post-Thanksgiving!

Unbelievable that we've come to the point where it must be pointed out that the working class is the engine room of society, and that without it, it's dead in the water. Go so far as to make this known, much less swagger, and pundits and pols "tsk tsk" us for inciting "class warfare" while the 1 percent snarl at us for being cheeky and uppity.

A lot of people sweat and bleed in their work. They go out on the hottest and coldest days of the year and perform physical labor because that labor flat out has to be done.

Cheers!
