Maybe "Hunger Games" and the movie it ripped off "Battle Royale"

Gladitorial Games in whatever form, have a long tradition in human civilization.

Same deal as to why people slow down to look at car wrecks.

It's part of human nature.

Especially over TVs and Xboxs and other shiny things we've convinced them they need at low low prices. Dance, puppets!

I see future historians using these clips in the same way that we use depictions of slavery today. It says much about who we are and where we're at right now.

I don't enjoy these "underbelly of the masses" videos, of "shoppers gone wild" it chills me. it makes me think this, "GET ME OUT OF HERE!!" But I watch them. just like I watched the tsunami videos
There was a movie where people get "the rage". and the way rage was depicted was like grunts and snorts and crouching. That is not what rage looks like. Rage is pumped up and spoon fed to the masses. It explodes with gunfire on an hourly basis. We've lost our attention span and we've lost our compassion. to the extreme.
