Because the War on Women (R) and the War on Senior Citizens (R) are such triumphs of human small mindedness & greed (R).

That's what these two narcissists are talking about. They want us to stop enabling their victims to keep living. They regard these poor people as their rightful prey, and they resent any interference with what they consider their rightful sadistic enjoyment of the physical suffering of other people.

Welfare is costing this nation everyday. Vulture Capitalism with one company Romney took over cost $44M to fund the pension fund he raided backed by the government. Halliburton has scammed lots of money in No bid contracts. When is Stossel and Hasslebeck going to point out these deals.

and I sat down with my headphones and listened to Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon. Lots of life lessons on that album, but the one that really stuck with me, the one that made me think twice about walking by someone in need without batting an eyelash, was this line from the song "Us and Them"...

"Out of the way, it's a busy day, I've got things on my mind,
For want of the price of tea and a slice, the old man died"...

From that day forward, money goes in the cup if I have it. Sure maybe I gave some kid cigarette money or some guy beer money, but I'm betting the majority of the money I gave away went to food. And I am not wealthy, Stossel and Hasselbeck can afford to drop a few bucks into the cup but they are so selfish and greedy that they had to create a story to appease their guilt on the fact that instead of dropping 2 bucks into a homeless veterans hands, they saved that money to buy more jewelry, or another car or a second McMansion.

But of course they get away with it.

I hear about some "news" report where someone claims to beg for money they don't need and they aren't homeless. I guess it's her way of telling me not to give money to deadbeats.

If I've got it, I give it. You take a chance with your money whether you give it to a person or an organization. At least I know I did what I could.

I'll never give a dime to Salvation Army, though.
