Man Cited After Tossing $1,000 Into MOA Rotunda
http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2013/11/30/man-cited-after-tossing-1000-into-moa-rotunda/

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) – You know the old saying: money doesn’t fall from the sky? Well, it did on Black Friday at Mall of America.

Serge Vorobyov — who goes by the YouTube handle “Serge the Car Hauler” — threw $1,000 in dollar bills from the fourth floor of the Mall of America rotunda as a choir performed “Let it Snow” on the ground floor below.

Serge said the reason he surprised everyone and tossed out the cascade of cash is because he’s had a rough year and just wanted to help other people on Black Friday.

in USA, Inc. to give out free money. For more fun, throw a few thousand off an overpass during rush hour.

Walmart has purposely caused stampedes and even deaths with their practices and I don't see anyone arresting them.

there are lots of ways to do something nice that don't create a potentially dangerous scene.

it was stupid and showboating.

Another one of Hoffman's well-known protests was on August 24, 1967, when he led members of the movement to the gallery of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The protesters threw fistfuls of real and fake dollars down to the traders below, some of whom booed, while others began to scramble frantically to grab the money as fast as they could. [9] Accounts of the amount of money that Hoffman and the group tossed was said to be as little as $30 to $300.[10] Hoffman claimed to be pointing out that, metaphorically, that's what NYSE traders "were already doing." "We didn't call the press", wrote Hoffman, "at that time we really had no notion of anything called a media event." The press was quick to respond and by evening the event was reported around the world. Since that incident, the stock exchange has spent $20,000 to enclose the gallery with bulletproof glass.[11]

Why punish this man because you assume other people MAY behave badly. That an injustice.

You throw money into a crowd, and people will go apeshit. This is an absolute.
