You did get the twisted part correct.
Santorum or Sanitarium, or what whatever his name is, needs to be picked up for evaluation. He is a danger to others.

these clowns are high on their zealotry and have misinterpreted the Constitution in such a way that they think their rights include foisting their religion on everyone else... they have the Constitution confused with the King James version of their manifesto.

They should be banned from holding office if they can't decipher which is which.

In fact, I suggest that all states' residents/voters compose initiatives to ballots that require all candidates pass an exam on the Constitution, Bill of Rights and a suite of SCOTUS decisions before being allowed placement on any ballot for elected office, Period. That would, within a couple election cycles, eliminate this BS and send those clowns packing (sand if I had any say).

Your party's punitive policy stances are alienating vast segments of the electorate. Your party will never succeed in winning national elections on the basis of placating a dwindling bloc of conservative white male voters and a handful of deep red southern states. The notion that "liberty" is exercised by the powerful exerting their influence in a manner that deprives the less powerful of basic freedoms is a tenet of fascism that will never play well in this country.

Jesus gave us the Constitution.

That's what the dumbass who made this print wants you to believe.

Whooda thunkit? Also, apparently the Jesus in question was OK with grandfathering in a few things at a later date, such as not having to free slaves just yet, excluding Native American tribes from any notion of basic human rights, and limiting the exercise of power to a narrow segment of the population based on one's gender, race, and economic status.

Wow, just wow. If I didn't know any better I'd say it's black humor or satire, but nope these people are absolutely serious.
It's interesting that McNoughton is from Utah, yet there are no Mormon bigwigs in his paintings. Also absent are any brownish looking people or native Americans.

I have/had a facebook friend that posted one his paintings. I've since hidden his news feed.

On Edit: I did notice some black people peppered throughout his painting. It's kinda like a GOP convention.

This image explains the founders and their actual beliefs on religion and state:
