Eye Surgery and the ACA

My self-employed Ex is shopping for health insurance in California and is having trouble determining if this would be covered. Her eyesight is deteriorating, apparently in a way that is not correctable by corrective lenses and she thinks she may need eye surgery in the near future.

Anybody have reliable information?
