I do not know, nor care, of his politics; but his approach is clearly the way forward ... science-based customization of treatment protocols. It's like reading a map before setting out on a California to New York road-trip; rather than, just driving East on whatever road happens to headed East.
But what struck me about this article is how it implied/implies that his efforts are at cross-purposes with those of President Obama (ObamaCare); when they clearly are not ... the good doctor is about developing a more efficient/effective protocol for treating disease, whereas, President Obama is about developing a more effective method for paying for any protocol developed ... Until such time that society decides that all healthcare should be free to the patient, we need both.
Further, I suspect that one of the things that is giving the good doctor's work a bump is the efficacy component (e.g., the systematization of data collection and the development of storage mechanisms for the data) contained in ObamaCare.
