And such a shayne punim! It truly was a best Bar Mitzvah speech ever.
I must say, though, he was lucky to have gotten such a good Torah portion. I remember my son's portion was an excerpt that was just a bunch of ordinances for building something with this many cubits in this direction and this many in that direction: it was nearly impossible to get any kind of theme out of it at all!

. . . of the old Bill Cosby monologue on Noah's Ark -- particularly the part where NOah asks God what a "cubit" is!
