Huffpost, unfortunately, but worth the visit.
The topic is how proceeds have been spent in different ways for each victim, a very thoughtful and individualized story on this sad day.
Look for the slideshow after the text part of the article, which is about various ways donations have been spent to commemorate individual victims.

(68,644 posts)I see Adam Lanza as a victim, too.
It's not quite the same, of course, but he's still a victim, a wasted life, evidence of something terribly wrong.

(2,205 posts)I still have nightmares about it happening to my children.
I can't imagine the pain those families have to carry with them for the rest of their lives.

(68,644 posts)There is some small comfort in reading how many different ways the victims are being honored, but it's just still too sad.
Good to see you.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
