August 25, 2011:

I stand with labor. If the AFL-CIO does not endorse Obama in 2012

...I will withdraw my support.

If they endorse him, I will stand with labor and work for his reelection.

March 13, 2012:

AFL-CIO "enthusiastically" endorses Obama for reelection

Leaders of the influential AFL-CIO labor federation announced Tuesday it voted "proudly and enthusiastically" to endorse President Obama's re-election effort.

"We feel that he's put forth bold initiatives and put people back to work, put revenues back in the country, put out a vision that expresses opportunity and fairness," said Gerald W. McEntee, president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. "We think he's a good man."

This nation was not built on the laziness of the sybaritic rich. It was built on hard work, determination and perseverance. If you think these qualities are cliched then look at what a departure from that value system has gotten us. A parasite class of the idle wealthy who slouch in their ivory towers sucking the blood out of America while the TRUE America-her people- suffer under their parasitic infestation. What we need in my opinion is MORE and STRONGER support for the working man and woman in this country. A good place to start would be to end outsourcing.

Every other candidate running is openly hostile toward labor. Who the hell do they represent?

They endorsed Gore in October, Clinton in May.

Carter's second run got the nod in September. Dukakis in October.

...Heck, even I was guessing April.
