9. Seeing him wipe his tears made me wipe mine. He has been there a long time and

I consider him an essential part of why I watch. I will still watch but it won't seem quite the same until some time passes.

Let's hope John Oliver has a Steve Carrel/Ed Helms future and not a Rob Cordry future.

8. Saw This And it Did Get To Oliver

Somehow he held together, it was touching. I figured he'd get some offers because he was so great filling in for Stewart this past summer.

I wish luck to him with this new HBO gig, and I think there is a very good chance that he'll take over from Stewart once Jon walks away.
