because of course all thinking people know, the Moon landing was filmed on the same sound stage where Watergate was created.

No one at nasa or anywhere else wanted a diaster on live tv. Plain and simple.

So, one of two likely option are:

1 - moon landing goes as planned. Astronauts filmed it. Tape delayed broadcast on earth as live tv.

2 - moon landing goes as planned. Astronauts are unable to film/transmit for whatever reasons. Audio is recorded and transmit back to earth. A production is staged exaclty to the audio. Production is broadcast as live tv.

There are some interesting ideas about the inability to operate the cameras on the moon due to the gloves expanding in a vacuum and other space obstacles.

Also, I can't imagine someone at the levers of control thinking, "we are not going to embarrass ourselves in front of the entire world on live tv" and not coming up with some reasonable safeguards to that news.

No facts, no evidence, nada.

A lot of things are conceivable. That does not make them true.

If memory serves a discovery documentary about the different problems with the hardware used during the tv transmission, ie gloves in a vacuum, etc.

Sorry, I don't know where to direct you "proof nasa lied to 4 billion people about live vs tape broadcast of the moon landing". But it's probably one click away from whoshotjfkforreals.com

Not surprised you have no interest in a discussion or any considerable discourse on the points of my post.

Good luck!

that the moon landing was fake. After I heard him say that and realized that he was serious - I dismissed myself from that conversation - because I felt then that anyone that stupid could not possibly have a legitimate opinion about anything. I mean seriously, that goes way beyond even some far fetched conspiracy theories.

They're all about making people question science and obvious stuff. The more they get people having stupid questions, the more open to stupid questions they are in general.
