Sphinctorum is a fundagelical. That means he's out to convert as many to his narrow brand of xianity as possible.

This was a blatant, obvious (if extremely clumsy) attempt to convert Jewish people.

Not gonna work, of course, but by his worldview he has to attempt it.

That should be even more frightening than any perceived idiocy.
