I am being hit on my Tweet feed about the desperate situation in Syria.
Fingers of blame are pointed at the governmental militias, for holding back food supplies, and keeping those for themselves. Same fingers also point to the various rebel groups for exhibiting the same behavior.
This report is close to two months old. If anyone knows of things there improving, please advise.

(32,324 posts)What our black op programs are doing to the weather, both in the Mediterranean nations and here on the West Coast, can't really speak out about their findings.
At elst they can't speak out if they want to hold on to their jobs.
Yes, drought is a factor, but the reality remains that weather as a weapon is increasingly used by this government, at the same time the propaganda is out there about what swell and delightful things such a black op program could do, were such a program to "being."
Recently Stephen Colbert cut POS David Keith a new one, when Keith elaborated on the Wondrous things such a black op program would do..
Scandinavian scientists are now finding that the black op program initiated by the USA (but probably in place by the Chinese and Russians as well) is contributing each year to a full 15% of the disastrous changes going on in the weather around all of us on Planet Earth.
Syria is the tip of the iceberg. ABC's "Nightline" just had a program on, two nights ago, about the kids in Aleppo, and how they are adjusting to being part of the "rebellion." Such happy, wide eyed, well fed kids! And knowing this footage was taken several months ago, and those same kids could be starving from the drought, and from the Top officials stealing the food meant for them and their families, or else dead from military actions -- it was heart breaking to contemplate.
For instance, when the levees near Sacramento burst open next spring, you will see another Katrina type disaster. With all the human misery that entails. (Right now, rain that the real weather system tries to get to Northern California is instead going to the Sierras, and when the spring melt comes, all that melted snow is going to really hit those inadequate, deteriorating levees, and this will affect several million people, and possibly bring California to a halt, since teh State Capital and legislature would possibly be underwater!)
