People who say “Barack Hussein Obama”

People who call our president “Barack Hussein Obama” don't call Ted Cruz “Rafael Edward Cruz.” They don't call Rush Limbaugh “Rush Hudson Limbaugh.” They don't call Newt Gingrich “Newton Leroy Gingrich.” They don't call Dick Cheney “Dick Bruce Cheney.”

And most of all, they don't call Bobby Jindal “Piyush Amrit Jindal!”

(1) The name Barack is a form of the Arabic word Baraka or Barakah, meaning blessing (from the root "Brk&quot , specifically, the "meaning of Barakah in an Islamic sense" refers to "the presence of divine blessing in an object and increasing those blessing." It also comes up repeatedly in the Bible under another spelling.

(2) Barack Obama's middle name Hussein is derived from the muslim prophet Muhammed's grandson, (son of Fatima), specifically:

""Husayn diminutive form of Hasan, which is derived from hasan (beautiful, handsome, good). Husayn, one of the most popular Muslim names, was borne by Al-Husayn (626-80), a son of the Prophet's daughter Fatima and Ali ibn-Abi-Talib. Husayn and his followers were massacred at Kerbela on October 10, 680, a day that is now celebrated as a Holy Day for the Shiites.

(3) The name Obama is a family name three generations back, from Barack Obama's father "Barack Obama, Sr.", to his father, "Hussein Onyango Obama", and likely before, though earlier records will probably be found only in archives...

http://deathby1000papercuts.blogspot.com/2008/09/barack-hussein-obama-origin-of-obamas.html

Another source says that 'Obama' translates to 'He Is With Us.'

So let the haters hate 'blessing' and 'good' and worry their little selves to pieces about that last one, too.

P. S. Did you ever notice how serial killers are almost called by all three names? That may be feeding their fantasies about FEMA camps.

is proud of his name, I fail to see why anyone has a problem with it. Oh yes, we have the talking heads making it a slur. Sorry, your bigotry is showing.

WASHINGTON, January 21 (RIA Novosti) - US President Barack Obama was officially sworn into office at a private White House ceremony on Sunday, marking the start of his second four-year term.

The Constitution mandates that the US President takes the oath on January 20, but the date falls on a Sunday this year, which means the public inauguration ceremony and festivities will be held on Monday, January 21.

Obama took the oath, administered by Chief Justice John Roberts, in the Blue Room of the White House. He used a Bible that belonged to First Lady Michelle Obama’s paternal grandparents, the White House reported on its website

“I Barack Hussein Obama do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Obama said.

I will always think differently now when I hear his full name because every one of your translations sure fit the man. Gus Grissom died in the Apollo 1 fire during a test along with two other astronauts Ed White and Roger Chaffee. It was a tragedy and had obvious causes: it was an accident waiting to happen because of the pure oxygen atmosphere in the capsule. It set the space program back at least a year.

People who call our president “Barack Hussein Obama” don't know what the rest of us deep internet dwellers know. His real name is Barry Soetoro. He is an MK-ULTRA CIA creation and child participant in the US DARPA time-space exploration program known as Project Pegasus. Obama-Soetoro was recognized by eye-witnesses at the CIA facility on Mars in 1981.

but I have an explanation, sort of.

Although I believe those that use President Obama's middle name have a different motivation, there is a long tradition of using a president's middle name or middle initial.

William Henry Harrison
James K. Polk
Ulysses S. Grant
Rutherford B. Hayes
James A. Garfield
Chester A. Arthur
William Howard Taft
Warren G. Harding
FDR
Harry S. Truman (no middle name, just the initial)
Dwight D. Eisenhower
JFK
LBJ
Richard M. Nixon
Gerald R. Ford
George H.W. Bush
George W. Bush
