Trump Adviser to CNN: 'The Devil Is a Saint When Compared to Donald Trump'

https://www.mediaite.com/trump/trump-adviser-to-cnn-the-devil-is-a-saint-when-compared-to-donald-trump/

CNN’s Jim Acosta reported on some of the reactions within former President Donald Trump’s inner circle to his acquittal in his second impeachment trial, quoting one unnamed Trump adviser as saying that “the devil is a saint when compared to Donald Trump.”

“Not surprisingly,” Acosta told anchor Wolf Blitzer, Trump’s team was “declaring victory,” noting that the language of his statement indicated that Trump was “not leaving the scene” and seemed to have “future political plans.” Whether that included running for president again in 2024 remained to be seen, said Acosta, thinking that it was more likely that he was “just going to siphon more money from his political base.”

Acosta continued, mentioned “a longtime Trump adviser” who he had asked about “one of the more damning parts of the trial, that was it was basically established the former president did nothing when his Vice President Mike Pence was in danger up on Capitol Hill on January 6th,” and the adviser replied, “the devil is a saint when compared to Donald Trump.”

“Wolf, I mean even inside Trump World there are people who know this president’s character, know who he is,” Acosta concluded. “And to have a longtime Trump adviser say something like that, I think, you know, establishes that even inside his own circle of advisers, allies, and associates, there are some major questions about this man’s character, Wolf.”

I wasn't online when I heard this yesterday, forgot to check for video or the exact quote later.

I was watching a very recent video showing another interview with Mary Trump where she was saying there is nothing that should ever surprise us with how low he will stoop to get his needs met (whatever they may be) or to get revenge on those whom he thinks have wronged him. Nothing is sacred to this man except himself and his own ego.

He will do whatever it takes to get to the pinnacle of the highest mountain. The presidency gave him our country and he viewed being POTUS as the ultimate entitlement, and that he deserved it--even though he lied, cheated, and stole to get there. As far as he's concerned he was smart enough to pull it off. God knows what he did behind the scenes (and I am only talking about 2016).

Actually viewing the presidency as a job and duty to serve was beneath him. He saw it as a title befitting him, and saw our country as a Trump acquisition. The fact that he plundered it and bankrupted much of it (including the deaths of almost half a million people) was no different than how he managed other Trump properties/acquisitions. He is like a vulture and will pick everything clean. I would bet his offshore holdings are full of proceeds of U.S. assets mismanagement (more like pillage, for we found ourselves fighting him every step of the way), and bribes/payoffs/blackmail from all over the world.

His "cult of personality" was his greatest achievement and will continue to give him power, access, and wealth. The people he subjugated? He couldn't care about them less. They mean nothing but a means to him.

He will continue to be a dangerous predatory psychopath.

Everybody knows what this guy is.

Supporting him is incomprehensible.

Or maybe just plain evil.
