(2,433 posts)this behavior is absolutely representative of his administration. This is par for the course for him and his lackeys. This is one of the most disciplined administrations in history! Christie's people don't breathe without clearing it with his inner circle. It is totally out of character for something like this to have originated with a staffer. Everything else was under control, but this, THIS, was a rogue action. Right. Punishing many people to settle a political score with one person is his M.O..

If all this turns out to be true, he's heartbroken by the betrayal by his closest aide Bridget Kelly and his top executive at the Port Authority David Wildstein, whose been his dear friend since childhood. He knew nothing about this and never lied to the public, yadayadayada.

(20,056 posts)Bridget Kelly hasn't been subpoenaed yet and David Wildstein is trying to get out of having to show up for his tomorrow. They still have some time to workout all those silly little winkles their beloved Christi.

(20,056 posts)We must not forget that he is deeply saddened as well. It's pivotal to his trying to pull off how two of the people closest to him kept him out of the loop on this.

(16,254 posts)I don't believe a word of his statement. If I had an opportunity to work for Christie, I would run as fast as possible in the opposite direction.
I wonder how much it cost to buy the scapegoat(s) confession(s)?

Maybe we could coax Christie out for a statement by dangling a teacher?
