(15,813 posts)It's only going to make him sadder.
A-Schwarzenegger
(15,813 posts)because he wasn't mad. Although he might get mad later.
After he is done being sad. This shows what a sensitive man
he is, because his sadness is bigger than a real real
big bridge or something. It is a very hard thing in life to
trust somebody, especially, say, a woman, for five years,
and then have her do something that hurts your feelings,
especially if you are a sensitive man.

Chris Christie: "I am not a bully." #bridgegate
This is him yelling at a woman while his wife laughs.

I posted this on another thread and someone replied that "his wife always has that creepy smile on her face"

(15,813 posts)That woman is probably somebody he trusted and then
she hurt his feelings somehow.

More unbearable SADness for Christie..
"But he missed a chance to express sadness about the 91-year-old woman who died when paramedics were delayed by Fort Lee traffic, saying, Its awful to hear, but adding callously: Ive also heard conflicting reports about the cause of death.
Its awful to hear was interesting phrasing, typical of the two-hour pity party: It focused on the experience of the person who heard the news, not the person who died or their family. It was all about Chris Christie."

(15,813 posts)Let's take a second out of our responses to the scandal
and think about his feelings or his set patterns of display
for achieving the desired effect for a few moments.

(319,080 posts)He didn't fool a lot of people. Wanted it to be all about him and his fee fees
"His press conference was a master class in GOP damage control. He spent the majority of the conference in casting himself as the victim. Another chunk he spent in excoriating his mendacious staff for lying to him. (Note, he was angry for them lying to him, not for their actions.) He spared almost no thought for the very real danger in which he put the people he was elected to serve."

(15,813 posts)Everybody wanted him to be more sensitive and everything,
and now he's more sensitive and everything, but apparently
that's not enough. Now everybody wants him to also care about
other people, too. They keep moving the goalposts on him.
Cha
(319,080 posts)drama coach.. only next time move the sadness from so much Christie to the People of his state. I know it's hard to do a 180 but we're talkin' dashed presidential hopes here!

It is not a pretty thing when a sociopath tries to seem like a human
being and gets criticized even for that.

(Can I admit the tenor of this thread reminded me of the first Oscar thread - made me nostalgic - and a bit ... sad
)
A-Schwarzenegger
(15,813 posts)Via the Oscar-o-lator, he had 2 questions:
1. "Where's the tears?"
2. "Where's the traffic study?"
salin
(48,958 posts)(not me, salin, but me the subject.)
The traffic study is the one who called Gov. Cuomo and asked him to call his people off in mid-December so that wouldn't push so hard on "me"'s people. Why "I" made that contact is making "me" cry, because I am so sad that they lied to me and forced me to try to coerce another Governor to back off any investigation.

(15,813 posts)The traffic study did it!
The traffic study just scheduled a five-hour presser for 3 a.m.
