Dharun Ravi found guilty of all 15 charges in the death of his roommate after webcam spying

This is the case where this guy played video of his Rutgers roommate on the internet while having sex with another man. The roommate later committed suicide.

The charges were hate crime related.

Sentencing could be up to 10 years in prison followed by deportation.

The jury found he was knowingly doing this to intimidate based on sexual preference.

Good.

I think this is an important precedent. It is a case with hate based on sexual orientation and bullying at its core.
