Tealaban...

That's what the Republican Party is now.

The same rigid my way or the highway mind set is apparent in both.

We can never take the ranting of the minority self-righteous to bully their way to power.

This is one of those pivotal points, one of the game changers that shake up society every now and then.

I believe the people behind the Tea Party realized that there is a major demographic change in progress here in the US and so they are trying to pull the country as far to the right as they can to counter balance the pragmatism that is coming.

With each day, the Tealaban is shrinking in numbers due to death or intellectual reawakening. And the money propelling the Tealaban knows this. That is why there has been such a push to squeeze as much as they can from what is left of our democracy.

All of the attacks are against freedom of choice

Freedom to choose who you love

Freedom to control your own body

Freedom to vote for the representatives of your choice.

I will not live in a country "ruled" by people who say I can't choose
my own life. How can the teabaggers make it so obvious that they want to rule the United States and dictate how we should live and expect that people will vote them into office.

But they do have supporters - How do people get so brain-dead?

And we must take every advantage of the fact that our ideas are the stronger ones now.

Are sense of societal Justice can be traced to the teachings of Jesus while they seem to favor the Herodian approach to ruling...

Now this isn't a blanket embracement of religion, far from it. The reason I chose these particular examples is because almost everyone in the western world recognizes the allusion.
