In the beginning when he called out names, he was slurring his words big time. There's no way he was going to wait until after the speech for a drink.

He looked pretty much the same during last year's speech, though not quite as red.

Look at the Los Angeles > Vegas run.

Republicans shut it down and talk of having high speed rail in this busy corridor is met with the following talking point: "Demoncrats are so EVIL they want to pervert America's wholesome Disneyland by building a high speed rail line to tempt the carnal nature of men to go run off to Vegas for gambling and prostitutes."

Never mind that prostitutes work under the neon and flashing lights all around Disneyland...

The locals called it "Ball Road" for a REASON.

Oh, and never mind the trip is a 45 minute flight out of John Wayne. We have to stop the RAIL service in the name of Jesus.

at the hearing that went on until 2:00 a.m....when Anita Hill's witness was not allowed to testify...because Biden pulled the plug.

He has not recovered from that memory of those of us who stayed up until wee hours to watch that. It's his black mark with those of us who remember...(long time female voting Democrat, here).

Otherwise...he's quite charming if you forget Clarence on Supreme Court and Delaware the State where Corporations Register ...and Joe's funding from them.

He's pretty interesting if one looks over those two big items...and a few others...here and there.

If it wasn't obvious before last night no one should be wondering where the problem lies any more. A clue, it was or isn't with the President. He's trying to help you and me, trying hard but the house republicons/teaparty aholes are fighting him every step of the way. Nothing Obama has done up to this point in time has been against the will of the Majority of the American people.
