There's nothing like watching the applause lines in a State of the Union speech to see what brings members of Congress to their feet.
So, what made Democrats stand and cheer while Republicans sat on their hands? In no particular order:

• Ending poverty.
  
  
• Equal pay for equal work.
  
  
• Affordable health care for all Americans.
  
  
• Raising the minimum wage.
  
  
• Ending war.

6. The top thing the Republicans hated tonight was the fact he was smiling.

They expected a beat down demeanor but two minutes into the speech they were asking themselves: "Why is this guy smiling? I thought we had him on defense and back on his
heels. Oh no... He knows something we don't get. Damn. We screwed up again."

7. GOP is enraged that Wall Street is letting them down.

Dow Jones Average doubles from Jan 2009-Jan 2014. With all they do for the rich, you'd think the rich would hold back so Obama wouldn't look like he knows what he is doing.
