Time is all it takes to degrade both material and memory. That's when ugly will happen.
Even if there is no spill, the environmental damage is immediate and global. As for jobs? Utterly few jobs. Benefits? None for the constituents of this country... and prices will rise.. which in itself is fine, but not this way. Our decedents will pay.
