Congresswoman Davis (D-53rd District California) gets OCCUPIED

Well my Congress woman got occupied. No serious. People went to her office, after finding out the local Democratic Paty HQ was closed. That was the first target. Why were they there? Folks, they were angry. Ok anger is a somewhat trite word these days. So what is better? Concerned? They were not happy, why? This is a question rarely asked these days by elite media. So WHY?

They were not happy since the President is about to sign the National Defense Authorization Act. They are truly scared that Provisions 1031 and 1032 will pretty much gut the bill of rights.

So you might ask... them must be Republicans right? Nope.

Will Robinson danger ahead. These are the base of the Democratic Party. These are the people who usually come out and happily vote for DEMOCRATS. So if I were part of the Democratic Party I'd start paying attention, unless of course it matters little anymore.

Oh and for the record, these well dressed folks are also OCCUPIERS, and members of Veterans for Peace and Progressive Democrats, and a few other groups that are traditionally alined to the left, So there you have it. A few more into who really the Occupy movement is, and in my view how deep it is.

Oh and a few points made... one was truly concerned that this has been rushed through, and perhaps it is meant to deal with the Occupy movement. After all, apparently my local cops, and your local cops, are told that political activists are low level terrorist. Now I don't know if this scares me, or just angers me... but hey.. there you have it.

(Yes, they have been trying to bring a few of these points to the local city council... pulling nails would be easier)

Once you have an account, follow the pages until you get the Upload Video icon. You can save video from your camera to your hard drive, of course, before hand, and you select it from there. All you have to do is name it, save it, then go to Video Manager and Edit to turn Comments off (it's youtube, always a good idea).

I have more accounts than I can handle...but with #Occupy as it is, I've taken that leap with youtube.

Perhaps someday I'll actually have something worth uploading

Edit: There IS Vimeo.com, home to high-quality uploading and much artistic content as well..

are becoming independents... and feel utterly betrayed...

This has been going on with the Rs for a while... it is like people (one of the people I talked to was a republican who became a democrat and now is quite lost, and is quite the activist) are truly giving up on this.

The word has been used here, and a few folks take exception to it. But hey... I was told this by an attendee today... he is 'tired of the charade."

And as everyone knows, Occupy protesters are confused, rich trust fund babies and lazy welfare recipients!

I strongly disagree with the unconstitutional provisions of the NDAA and wish Obama had chosen to veto this bill. But I also understand how politics is played. Had he vetoed the legislation he would have been criticized for having been "against the troops". This issue will be determined in court and I suspect overturned as not conforming to constitutional muster.

We are dealing with an era not unlike Germany in the 1930's....Hitler versus the non-nutcases. You have to choose your sides very carefully.

so now i use the far less threatening, but just as ugly... Italy, or Spain.

The process was similar. In fact, closing societies have a certain ahem... arc that they follow as well.

But you bring up Germany and the G word is thrown with abandon.
