Oh yeah, almost forgot: Seahawks 22, Broncos 17

You know, it's probably arrogant for a newb to be starting football threads on a primarily-political website, but, on this Super Bowl Sunday, the Old Milwaukee disagrees! (belch)

And yes, those 22 points for Seattle mean exactly what you think they mean: Manning will be sacked in the endzone.

I have no idea how the game will go.
Head says Seattle. Heart says Broncos.
Go Broncos!

I mean, if I were to go to the nearest A&P and ask to be directed to where the grits are, would the staff be able to accommodate me? (I'm embarrassed to say I've always thought that "grits" were basically leftovers which people in the South cobbled together and made a meal out of.)

Grits is coarsely-ground hominy meal. White cornmeal will do if that's all you can get.

The team that's good on both sides of the football (Seattle) beats the one that's good only on offense (Denver).

Seattle by 17 - two TDs with extra-point and one safety.

The Seahawks have the 7th.
Seattle depends on the run much more than Denver. Russell Wilson has made enough plays to win in the last few games. If he can't sustain that now and Lynch is limited, it will not be a 17point edge.

Each team has problems.

With Christie gone (which he is), and Jeb's mom not letting him to come out to play, the Republicants will nominate a total nutfuck who can only win Mississippi, Kansas, Oklahoma, Utah, Indiana, South Carolina and Alaska.
