Poor Chris Christie...kicked out of his luxury box for the Super Bowl!

" No suite for Gov. Christie at Super Bowl 2014, despite previous boasts

Over the past few weeks, the governor boasted about how he would get to hand-pick two dozen VIPS for a sweet reward: the chance to enjoy the biggest sporting event in the country with him in his luxury suite at MetLife Stadium.

When asked who would control the guest list for the governor’s box at the Super Bowl while co-hosting WFAN’s Boomer and Carton sports radio show on Aug. 26, Christie said: ‘You’re looking at him, baby.’

But as it turns out, the governor’s box will be out of bounds for the governor on game day."

"The governor does not have a suite for the Super Bowl," spokesman Michael Drewniak said in response to questions from The Star-Ledger. "But he is the governor of New Jersey and a huge sports and NFL fan. I think it’s safe to say that come hell or high water, he’ll be in MetLife Stadium somewhere on game day..."

Drewniak downplayed Christie’s comments on WFAN, saying, "It was a sports talk show, where he was having fun and talking with excitement about what it means to him and his state to be hosting the Super Bowl."

Which means that this story ISN'T satire?

For that reason alone he should be impeached--and deported to Texas.

Was Christie actually denied use of his governor's sky box? You have got to be kidding.

I think he gets it for regular season only, and other events such as concerts.

That's what I got from the article.

And it's good for him to get used to not having it since he probably won't by the time next season rolls around.

I predicted he would not finish the first year of his new term. That still seems like a pretty safe bet.

It's perfect, absolutely perfect! Oh, and to add to his troubles, it seems new jersey transit is a disaster right now. They are telling the Super Bowl fans to stay in the stadium because the huge crowds at the station waiting, waiting, waiting.
