1. Papa John's sponsors the NFL as a whole so Manning's endorsement is just a small irritant for me

I'm sure the Seattle Seahawks organization has its fair share of knee-jerk conservative/GOP leaning players/coaches/management

Wilson is supposedly a major religious fundy (lots of God talk in his post-game interviews) although he's kept his political opinions to himself so far (AFAIK)

2. Manning owns about 20 Papa John's stores himself. Elway spouted off about opposing safety nets

in honor of game day. That's enough for me to pick a team to support.

Mile High was opened in 2001; the taxpayers paid for 75% of it.
