You may otherwise and at the very least mitigate that shame by kicking this tread.
Regardless, a Blessed Saint Valentine's Day to you all.
Monstrous, negligent creatures of dark perfidy though you may be!
EDIT:
The time is late, I've had my fill,
I'm full of hearts, I'm near to ill!
I now beseech, as I am done
to seek out those who have but none.
To gift a heart to others be
The salve to this great malady.
---proclamation by his royal highness and the vicar, right blessed.

(34,655 posts)Thank you! Please don't cry! SHAME on DU! SHAME! is it because they misspelled "Cat"? That's no reason.
I'd get you one but in a week or so I'll be begging online for money for dental care! I have no pride.

But I am glad to see old Lizzie the Hun getting ready to step down. My favorite Paul McCartney song is "Give Ireland Back to the Irish!" Because of my loud mouth, it behooves me to stay out of British reach. If I went back there wearing my favorite tee shirt, I'd get arrested for hate speech; it shows the back of a little IRA Daniel boy who's facing a huge British Goliath bellowing at him, "Yer a bleedin' terrorist!"
Sorry, it's past my nap time, and I get cranky around this hour. No offense intended toward you.

With a knife we cut bread, and thus we are fed
then nourished and large grows the mind.
Although one may cry "ow"

such wounds can taste sweet as a pie.

So these humble efforts, don't berate,
You, your rhyme, are what make DU great.
