That didn't work for me until I went to the link and saw you had to have NUM LOCK on.

A bonus that eHow missed, for the 17 people out there who, like me, still use WordPerfect: You get into the symbols menus with Ctrl+W (that is, hold down the Control key and type W). Then you type 6,36 in the Number field and select "Insert and close" (or just "Insert" if you want to add more symbols).
