(75,480 posts)1. Actually, the script writers are making a statement. They are taking a real life situation
and fictionalizing so people might wake up I believe. Movies like Elysium, which are fantasy, are also about what's about going on in our society with the widening wealth gap of the haves and have nots. They are to make you think while they entertain you. The Hollywood movie industry is made up of mostly liberals, regardless of some like Charleton Heston and Mel Gibson who are very few actually.
