Ed Koran Named Vermont Cartoonist Laureate!

Koran was named Vermont's second Cartoonist Laureate. Last year James Kolchalka was named Vermont's first cartoonist laureate.


Vermont's new cartoonist laureate says the honorary position is indicative of Vermont's independent and persnickety character.

Ed Koren's appointment became official with a Statehouse ceremony Wednesday. He is the second person named to the three-year post, following James Kolchalka of Burlington.
