Chris Mapp, one of the repubs challenging Cornyn: Ranchers should have right to shoot "Wetbacks"

on sight.

In the Dallas Morning News‘ endorsement of Senator John Cornyn in the Texas Republican primary for his reelection race, the editorial board explained why it rejected other candidates, saying some of them were way too out there. In particular, Chris Mapp told them “ranchers should be allowed to shoot on sight anyone illegally crossing the border on to their land, referred to such people as ‘wetbacks,’ and called the president a ‘socialist son of a bitch.’” Mapp came under fire for those comments, and has actually defended his use of the “wetback” slur instead of retracting the comment or apologizing for it

Mapp told the San Antonio Express-News that the term is as “normal as breathing air in South Texas

And I'm quite sure Mr Mapp uses that one as well, probably when discussing Obama.
