Just because you feel some lingering attachment to a nation or ethnic group from which you or your immediate ancestors escaped, please do not expect the rest of us to support with blood and treasure an attempt to cure whatever ills are there now present. This applies equally to Ukraine, Cuba, Israel, and any other state or region. It especially applies to hyphenated Americans who are not yet citizens, and to those who are so uncertain of their loyalty that they retain dual citizenship.

anti immigrant much? Would it be OK to argue for war based on caring about the people because they are people and not from a country your ancestors came from? How long does one have to have been here before she can have an opinion? Can the children of the immigrant have opinions?
