Pssstt Dmitry, tell Vladimir that I will have more flexibility after the election...

Oh ffs if I see another youtube link on Facebook to that off-mic comment I'm going to puke. I even saw a "How can Putin respect a man who wears mom jeans and can't throw a baseball without looking like a wimp?"

As usual the US right wing is in apoplectic giddy seizures as global markets tank. I was reading the Baltic Times yesterday and a leading Russian expert claims that after Ukraine the Baltic may be next.

I think this is all blown out of proportion. The right has their war hard on fully engaged (and some Dems too I'm afraid) and I just wish it were over. Why did the protestors not simply accept the offer for new elections and leave it at that?

I was reading about that today in Eesti Postimees, Estonia's largest newspaper.
Believe me, I'm not war-mongering. I think the US and EU better impose sanctions ASAP.

I love Estonia, in fact I will be in a Saaremaa cottage this summer!!! As an Estonian you can also relate to right wing politics and see the danger of the protestors aligning themselves with nationalist European groups.

The last time I was in Estonia, in 2010, they had an unusually large infestation of mosquitoes. You had to run from the house to the car, and vice versa, but they would still get you. Worst mosquitoes I've even seen.
I visited Saaremaa a few years earlier, and it wasn't bad, but have heard they can be a problem there. Hiiumaa is horribly infested with them.

While you're at it, bring some Putin repellent, just in case.

What was it. 1987? 1988? And on the day when Gorbachev dined in the White House, I walked in the protest outside, chanting with the others: "Gorbie is a weenie!"

We have to do this stuff again?
