There are all kinds of hoods:
There are neighborhoods

There are range hoods

There are car hoods

There are falcon hoods

There are hooded bath towels

There is Robin Hood
In the 1950's, juvenile delinquents were called "hoods"

Some hoods are despicable:

even if displayed on/near innocent little babies

and of course there are "hoodies" aka hooded sweatshirts
Apparently it's the "wearer" that "makes" the garment "threatening".
How many of THESE hoodie wearers get a "pass"...and how many get extra (perhaps deadly ) scrutiny?
