I apologize to the DU Community for a remark

which I made earlier today. The post was hidden and I am thankful for that and wish to offer that I was incensed by a few things which occurred today in the news and in my practice, sat down, and read some of the details of the assassination of that young man. I stated something inappropriate and, although it is not the first time, it is the first time in a long time that I have done so, and am duly and truly sorry.

I respectfully request your forgiveness.

I know of that to which you refer- I completely understand.
No need for an apology here, but must tell you thank you for
posting in what I consider the "best of DU" spirit- hard to find
these days on the board...

high. Don't beat yourself up, we are only human and it's clear to anyone with an ounce of compassion just how deep this situation has cut to your core. Take care.

It takes a big person to apologize.

It took me years to figure out that I have to do that once in awhile.

Being new to DU. I am just beginning to understand. Arguments should be reasonable, forthright, and non-insulting. To vent and let off steam yell at the TV!! Argghhh!

But I think it takes a big person to apologize and you have always been, imho, a pretty straight up poster.

This post made me really smile, because for every person we have that will never admit they are wrong, we have one like you
