This was the first result in my Google search. Apparently someone's Google was broken earlier.

1. Actually, my Google was working fine, but I was looking for the 2014 platform.

Apparently the Party doesn't release a new national platform except in Presidential election years.

But it tends to come out after the intrim vote between Presidential years.

4. The President represents the Platform.

And the Platform is composed (mostly) and ratified (by sitting delegates) at every Democratic Convention. Which are held on Presidential Election Years.

The nuances of American Party Politics and Representative Democracy are kind of boring. But a nice civics lesson.

Next time there's a DNC stay and watch the voting stuff, it's fun, even if it's really boring.
