Anyone notice Repubs shouting "class warfare" to protect richest 1% are NOT WORKING ANYMORE?

Iin the past Repubs have whipped out the old "class warfare" defense against any mention that the richest 1% and corporations should pay a little more.

And now there is a discernible absence of such calls by Repubs.

IMHO it is a sign that they understand this is not working anymore to deflect public anger.

Politicians always have been tone deaf when it was required in order to receive fat campaign contributions. But in this case, we just may be sitting on the crest of a huge wave that is about to engulf the Republican Party and sweep them out of office --and the Tea Party Conservatives may just help the cause!

Everyone not in the 1% sees for themselves who is winning that Class War, and it ain't them.

The Republicans are screwing the pooch on this one, big time, but cannot see it, so they keep trying to play that card in a losing hand.

Even the dimmest of those that watch Fox are starting to realize that they are being played, there is nothing resonating with them from the idea promulgated by the elite 1%'ers that those among them with little to lose need to accept even less in their lives while their wealthy masters need even more, more, more.

There is a lot of unease on the Right, and it is bubbling up from the bottom. They just aren't certain who they are angry at anymore, and why.

It used to be easy for the Republicans, blame the class below yours for everything.

Now, it's not as clear.

The blaming of minorities, the poor, those single parents on welfare, those on food stamps for all of society's ills is starting to falter as they who used to do the blaming themselves fall out of the lower middle class and into the working poor, and need those very same benefits they used to decry others using to survive.

When the Republican Party finally loses the White Lower Middle Class, they are finished...and they know it.

Unemployment, eternal war and lack of health care are equally fatal to Republicans. I doubt that many on the right are undergoing conversions, but fewer now feel like singing the praises of corporate fascism.

OWS!!!! Thank you, protestors, for changing the topic from endless austerity and budget cutting to the inequality and unfairness that 99% of us face.

When Repubs gave Wall Streeters a pass, and attacked those who are losing their homes and jobs --even the Tea Baggers noticed.

That was her genius. You're right; the repubs are an easy target on this one.
