I was surprised to find that the Mayo Clinic website said that there is no age limit for heart transplants and that it really depends on whether or not there are any comorbidities in an older patient.

Still, I can't help but think if there's a 40 year old and a 71 year old who need hearts and their conditions are equal, it should go to the younger person.
