Request to Alex Wagner...

Please do not get Luke Russert to sub for you again. Do not torture your viewers with this lightweight, self-absorbed know nothing.

discussed with Bob Costa how enthusiastic and confident the GOP is feeling about regaining the Senate, and I was thinking in my mind "who cares?" The only thing that matters is what happens on Election Day. And even if they were to regain the Senate, they would still fall short of the amount of seats needed to override a Presidential veto. Unless the Democrats keep the Senate and regain the House, the Status Quo would remain any way you slice it. Until they regain the WH (Heaven forbid), Republicans won't be able to get much passed, either. It must be a slow news cycle.
